Elevating workplatforms

It is impossible to imagine a site today, and within the railinfra, without tower wagons. As people are able to work at a height these are relatively dangerous machines. Due to its poor condition, non-functioning security or the absence of insufficient stability this may lead to a dangerous situation for the operator at a height. It is therefore imperative to check the tower wagon on these points of interest. HHC/DRS has the following options;

Type of Approval.
An independent assessment of the design, as referred to in the Machinery Directive 98/37/EG. HHC/DRS has received an instruction order from the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment and may call itself NoBo in this discipline. HHC/DRS is registered under the number NB1869.

Put into operation testing.
Independent first check of the tower wagon after production, whereby is assessed whether the machine has been built in conformity with the specifications reported by the manufacturer, including over loading testing. The basis of this inspection is the TCVT certification scheme W7-01 based on the EN 280.

Periodical testing.
Independent testing of the user phase during which safe functioning of all systems and the condition of the machine is assessed. The basis of this inspection is the TCVT certification scheme W7-01 based on the EN 280.
